1925 Citroen B2
Citroen supplied a chassis to UK taxi bodymakers, who either put on reburbished or new bodies onto the French chassis. Those taxis were called Chinose.
The SF 2362 has a torpedo body on the well tested
Citreon B2 chassis which could have been a taxi.

19AA30 Austin Taxi
This vehicle travelling from London to America when owned by an American G.I. It was found about 12 years ago in Edmonton, Canada, in a museum in a very sorry state. During the restoration it was discovered that the GH2362 number plate, was infact, the oldest London taxi still in running order.

1955 Citroen Traction Avant
This car is probably best known for the TV Series Maigret.
Citroen were the first manufacturer to offer front wheel drive and a hatchback facility. The 11C was the first commercial version that was capable of being a van, family saloon or general purpose vehicle for famers.

1957 FX3 Austin
This type of taxi cab superceded the high-lot and low-loader models which had served London well during World War II.
The taxi builders started using engines rather than Austin, namely Perkins, and it is still possible to see these taxi's being driven today.
The FX3 was, and still is the quentessential black cab (mainly because only black paint was available post-war)

1961 Ford Zephyr
With General Motors producing the Cresta and the Ford producing the Zephyr Zodiac, british cars were being 'Amercianized'.
The convertible version of the Zephyr is now a very rare piece of history, but being a 50's designed motor itstill doesn't look out of place today.

1966 Rolls Royce Silvercloud III
The bodywork for this vehcle was built by Jamie Young and is thought to be of only 12 vehicles built by Mr Young before he became unfotunately disenchanted with Rolls Royce and burnt all the records.
This vehicle has had one family ownership since new.

1980 Checker Cab
This New York taxi was infact never used in the USA as it was built for a film producer as a private run-around.
1980 was in fact the last year the Checker cab was made as the production tools required too much work to make them usable.
Yellow Cabs are used all over America but the Checker cab, despite being a yellow cab, is no longer produced.
